2009 SUBMISSION CRITERIA
Products must:
- Be available at retail outlets in the USA in 2009
- Be a new product release between January-December 2009
Things to note:
- Brands may submit more than one product per category or subcategory. However, only the top ranking product in each subcategory will be considered in the final tally and included in the top five products eligible for voting.
- Collections may not be submitted as a single entry. (Exception: nail polish collections)
- Any award category with fewer than five entries may be dropped from the 2008 Golden Compact Awards.
- One product sample must be sent to each blog on the awards panel.
Not accepted in the Golden Compact Awards:
- Gift sets
- Repackaging of existing products
- Shade enhancements or new colors for existing products
- New sizes for existing products

FINALIST AND WINNER SEAL USAGE
Finalists and winners may use the seal in television and print ads, online, in-store, product ads and direct mail pieces.
